Virtual Lessons
Online Riding and Theory Lessons
If you do not live in the Canterbury region, Nicole is reachable through virtual lessons. Using the same values in her physical lessons, Nicole will assess both the rider and horse for points to work on and provide a clear, structured approach to help the combination achieve their goals.

Online Riding Lesson:
In the live lesson I will call you at the booked time.
Please have your horse warmed up prior to lesson start time
Please have your camera set up in an area where I can view all or majority of the arena.
Lessons will go for 45 minutes including a cool down/review chat at the end.
These lessons can be flatwork lessons only
A waiver must be signed before the commencement of the lesson.
For these lessons you will need to have:

Installed Zoom

Headphones with Bluetooth and microphone

Phone for zoom meeting on a tripod (or a pivo/person to hold camera) both completely charged
Online Theory Lesson Requirements
In the live lesson I will call you at the booked time.
Theory lessons run for 45 minutes
In this time, I will watch your videos/ or will watch them prior if you have sent them early. And give you feedback on your riding discuss your technique.
This will be followed by time to work out a week/fortnight riding plan going forward with exercises and tasks to help keep you on your riding journey towards your goals.
These lessons are a perfect time to review your riding for the week, to ensure you are on track with your goals and ask any questions you might have had during your riding throughout the week.
For an Online theory lesson you will need to:

Be in a quiet room or have headphones with a microphone

Have phone with enough charge to last on a call for 45 minutes

Have sent through videos of your riding to be assessed during theory session if you would like.

Theory Lessons can be based on a wide range of topics, such as helping you begin your search for your own horse, reviewing and helping you with your riding technique and skills, helping you structure your plan toward both your goals for competition and at home, or discussing invaluable horsemanship skills and knowledge.
